Head of Clay play a gritty hard-edge rock; heavily laden with groove, melodies and a message for social change. Established by long-time friends with a passion for riff driven 90’s inspired rock, Head of Clay rose to existence in a small studio in Melbourne’s Northern suburbs. With decades of live and studio experience between them, this dynamic four-piece band have refined their talents to deliver a compelling and energetic live performance with meticulously crafted songs.

Head of Clay are:

Dave Trimboli: Vocals/Rhythm Guitar

Wal Zamuner: Bass/Vocals

Joey Amenta: Lead Guitar/Vocals

Anthony “Punch” Pungitore: Drums

The band effortlessly draw on Seminal influences like, Soundgarden, Collective soul, Deep Purple and The Tea Party and weave with a modern edge to create their own distinctive sound. With roots in the working class and a desire to challenge political and social injustices, the lyrics explore the struggles of everyday people, inspiring positive change against oppressive forces prevalent in today’s climate.
